NUK First Choice+ Silicone Bottles and Teats
Designed by German orthodontist, Prof. Dr. Balters and dental expert, Dr. med. dent. It was specifically developed to make it easier for mums and their babies to switch between breast and bottle-feeding.

NUK First Choice+ teats are specially developed to support breastfeeding, enabling mothers to alternate between breast and bottle at any time.
The NUK Anti-Colic Air System
All NUK Teats feature an air vent known as the NUK Anti-Colic Air System which compensates for the difference in air pressure in the bottle. This not only helps to prevent the teat collapsing, but also the harmful swallowing of air, otherwise known as colic.
Your Questions Answered:
What is the difference between silicone and latex teats?
NUK offers both silicone and latex teats; silicone is stronger and more durable but latex is popular with many parents because it is softer and more flexible, which can make it easier for some babies to adapt to. The choice of silicone or latex is a personal choice but there is a NUK Teat to cater for both needs.
How should bottles and teats be cleaned?
Sterilise using steam or cold water sterilisation, or the NUK Vapo Rapid Steam Steriliser (dishwasher and microwave sterilisation is not recommended as this can cause material damage). The NUK Baby Bottle Cleanser is recommended to effectively remove milk protein, pulp and juice residues.
How often should the teats be replaced?
For safety and hygiene purposes replace teat after 1-2 months use.
